The children from “Michael Lakatnik” Primary School in Burgas, Bulgaria learned that the dragonfly is the largest insect on Earth.

On April 11, Eve & Mary Publishing visited the adorable little ones from the preparatory group at “Michael Lakatnik” Primary School in Burgas, Bulgaria. The children eagerly listened to the captivating story of “Kai the Dragonfly,” learned fascinating facts about insects, and marveled at the book’s stunning illustrations.

After reading “Kai the Dragonfly,” Eve and Mary engaged in a magical discussion with the future first-graders.

“It’s amazing how fluently the children read, how much they know, and how fun they are,” said Mary.

The children discovered incredible insect facts—they learned that dragonflies are the largest insects on Earth and have existed for over 300 million years! Meanwhile, Eve & Mary Publishing learned something new from the children—that during the time of the dinosaurs, insects were as big as whales!
