Kai Arrived with the Spring at “Michael Lakatnik” Elementary School

With the arrival of spring, on March 22, 2024, the Eve & Mary’s publishing duo visited the second-grade students of “Michael Lakatnik” Elementary School in Burgas. Eve and Mary received a warm welcome by the students, who eagerly listened to the publishing house’s first rhyming fairy tale – “Kai the Dragonfly“.

The children experienced the heartfelt story of Kai the Dragonfly

Captivated by the story, the children fully immersed themselves in the tale of little Kai the Dragonfly and eagerly asked countless questions, which Eve and Mary were delighted to answer.
As an illustrator and artist, Mary shared some of the most treasured secrets of an illustrator—lessons we are sure the young aspiring artists will remember forever. Meanwhile, Eve guided them through the discussion on how to listen to their inner voice in silence.
For a brief moment, over 100 children sat quietly with their eyes closed, tuning in to their inner voice— like Kai—as it whispered about their true nature.

A very special meeting with the readers of Eve & Mary

“This meeting is very special because my daughter, Galatea, studies here. She sat beside me the entire time while I was drawing Kai the Dragonfly and was my true inspiration. It is an honor to present our magical book in front of her and her classmates.” – shared Mary.

“I told them about the world of words, where fairy tales are born. We talked about good and bad characters, and the children learned that sometimes villains come into our lives to teach us something about ourselves. I’m so happy they understood this message because it’s a lesson we all wish to learn as early as possible.” – said Eve.
